STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE TO MEASURE YOUR ROOM
Please use graph paper to capture your measurements. These measurements need to be 100% accurate for your new cabinetry to fit your space perfectly.
Make a rough drawing of the shape of the room showing all
walls, doors, windows, protrusions or recessed areas.
ROOM & WALLS
Measure all walls even if you aren’t putting cabinets on them so we can present you with an accurate design
- Measure the room wall-to-wall
- Measure from the floor to the ceiling
- Measure the height from the floor to the bottom on your windows and include that dimension
DOORS & WINDOWS
Measure from outside edge of windows and doors not including trim
- Measure each doorway and indicate which way the door swings and which side the hinges are on
- Measure each window
UTILITIES & APPLIANCES
- Include the exact location of the sink and wall outlets
- Mark the locations where the appliances will go including the dimensions or brand/model #
